A map of DTC bus routes

This map of DTC bus routes was created in the style of a metro map, now taken down on the web I had to do a lot of digging to find it. Created by Sudipto Ghosh and Shimonti Sinha of Citywise in 2016. The project seems to have wrapped up by 2018.

Such maps were initially installed at major bus depots and bus stops in central as well as regions of outer Delhi. Compared to the current squared-off bus route maps we find in some regions of Delhi the maps designed by Citywise had a more natural circularity to it, much like the city.

Roads of Delhi

A map of Delhi’s roads, largely for aesthetic reasons. Made using City Roads

Undeveloped and agricultural lands are a clean white, dotted with tiny nodes that are Delhi’s remaining “villages”, unauthorized and unorganized colonies make a black splatter, authorized colonies a fine mesh of perpendicular lines and posh colonies have their distinct ergonomic roundedness.
